VasilisMy mother just called to ask how to use Signal, she wants to stop using facebook stuff. This is good.
What’s not good is that Signal is complicated. Which makes people like my mother feel stupid and insecure.
Bart Vandeputte@vasilis My parents aren't techy and they use signal too. Once installed, it works almost the same like e.g. whatsapp. I don't have the feeling it's complicated?

@wcbdata You may find it not complicated, my mother does, and to be honest, I find it complicated too. I don’t know what secret numbers are, I don’t understand why I need a pin, I don’t understand why my history is gone when I switch devices. I could understand it if I cared to read the manual, but if I have to read the manual, it means it’s complicated.
