This week, had a family member celebrate the end of fact checking on Facebook. I asked him why he was wanting people to be able to lie to him. He said that that's part of free speech. You know - fair enough.

Later in the same conversation, he complained about how Google AI just makes shit up and confuses him, and he wants Google to fix it. Or, you know, fact check what the AI tells people.
