The people involved in the #HighlandLynx releases had their heart in the right place, but the releases in the wrong ones.
They oughta have released them in the central belt around #Glasgow, commuter and city suburbia where nobody would have noticed until they were well established and there are plenty of deer to munch on but few farmers to complain.
@kyonshi #ScotGov noticed that at least four #lynx were "illegally" released in the highlands, and have captured two of them. And they are threatening all sorts of vague consequences if anyone dares to release more, but it is already far too late. And they have been warned for the last ten years at least this was going to happen if they didn't stop dragging their feet on #rewilding issues. #FAFO
