Itβs also no wonder that unstable parts of the world tend to produce warlords that commit crimes against humanity. This also happens in places with strong ethnic tensions, e.g. where borders are poorly drawn.
I think the ICC is neutral and impartial, or at the very least they try to be to the best of their ability. But itβs no surprise the ICC often gets cases brought forward on African warlords, because thatβs an unstable area created by western colonialism. Nonetheless, the ICC does not necessarily shy away from prosecuting white people, e.g. in the former Yugoslavia, Israel or Russia.
