We just reached a point where they feel confident in going full face off. They have subverted the american democracy and are poised to do it elsewhere too, and can pursue their hideous goals more openly.

Bingo. We’ve been building toward this moment for decades. The pessimist in me doesn’t think we’ll be able to turn things around without massive upheaval and bloodshed.
