I'm reading Emergent Strategy by adrienne maree brown. The book blurb describes it as "radical self-help, society-help, and planet-help".

It's encouraging to picture self-help and healing as connected with social healing. This book is not about individual, isolated "healing". It's about reimagining the world (and ourselves) to make it more human, more natural, and more beautiful in an enduring way.

#EmergentStrategy

Y'all, healing is possible. A future is possible. For you, for us, for our communities.

Shit is dark and getting darker, but we still have the ability to imagine beautiful futures and start nurturing that way of life in ourselves and in the world.

"Life finds a way." 😉

We have to believe it, and we have to build it. No, we *are* building it.

I think the ability to articulate and deal with the concept of intersectionality has set us up better than ever to build communities—build our lives even—around justice. It's not just an academic word, it provides the framework to recognize and avoid many of the traps of hierarchy and oppression.

As we understand our social relationships better, we can build stronger coalitions.

Divide and conquer is the strategy of the ruling class, but we are learning how to better unite people in just and equitable ways.

We are learning. We are evolving. We are growing.

*As always, this anarchist pep-talk has been provided free of charge. Have a great day and keep up the good work! You are literally miraculous, there is beauty all around us, and we will persist.
