He was relatively cheap and seems to nicely work with paperless (incl OCR, descew and so on) after some settings  

[rant] But why the heck, does this model require some windows software to really do its job nicely and cannot do for example samba directly?! (or for what I care email) [/rant]

@Sammy8806 I remember a period of time, quite some years ago, when there were cheap models of printers made available from the likes of Epson. Part of making them cheap was offloading processing to the driver, which was only for Windows then. Not sure if they're still making those types of printers anymore.

The reason it was kinda cheap, was because the loading tray is missing and its second hand
