I'm trying hard getting used to this place... but I have to say it appears to be full of bugs, or I'm just doing it wrong 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

- Posts don't appear refreshed. So I need to click the post to see answers to it, for example.

Clicking on following or followers on others' accounts would help find contacts. But the only account to appear on the list is my own.

Searching for accounts forces me to type the exact full name until it appears in the results.

Choosing a gif or picture while answering automatically opens a new single post. I'm not able to attach it to the original answer.

- There are problems uploading images. I've just tried with a simple screenshot... "Error on upload"

@skysurfer77x What client are you using? I’ve heard nice things about Metatext and Toot! (on iOS), I’m trying them now and I like what I’m seeing (especially Toot!).

I’ve seen uploading errors but it worked after retrying. I’ve also seen horrible slowness at times and errors probably due to server overload. Hopefully this will get better.

Let’s see if uploading this screenshot works… yup it worked. 👍

@badibulgator Thanks a lot for your experience and the suggestions. I would agree, most of the problems might go back just to server resources. And I've heard about other clients, lucky it's open source. So I'll give that a go 😉👌

@badibulgator Thanks a lot my friend 👍Actually the site I've opened after you suggested to get an alternative 😅. I've used "Mastodon" itself, now I have "Tooot". Sadly the ones you've suggested aren't available for android. But I'll try "Tooot" now, or choose a different client from this link, if not satisfied 😉👌

@skysurfer77x @badibulgator Auf meinem IPad benutze ich zur Zeit und probeweise Openvibe, Pascal. Gibt es auch für Android - und man kann sowohl für Bluesky als auch für Mastodon nutzen. Und es ist kostenlos.
