Bee⁷ 💜🐳@pixelcats I've been debating on whether to open a Pixelfed account or a mastodon.art account for my patterns & prints. All I know is that I want to get off of Instagram... Leaning towards Pixelfed at the moment due to image quality and other features, but it seems like it's more geared towards photography than digital/traditional art. Hmm...
@mapofthesky7 Yeah it is very photo-centric from what I've seen so far, but seems like the most appealing Insta alternative.
I like the idea of running my own instance just for my little projects and connecting to the fedi. But it's all a bit of an experiment at the moment (I'm prone to crazy January digital adventures), so I'm not sure where I'll end up with it, but will report.
