Phil GyfordA constant in my life as a web developer has been trying to do everything the correct way but even then, due to the many permutations of tools and configurations, still repeatedly struggling to find examples of anyone doing things the same way.
James Jefferies@philgyford I worked with someone once who reviewed my PRs (there were just the two of us working on a code base) and it would normally take two or three revisions to do it “the correct way”.
They were usually right & I learnt a lot, but crumbs, it can be a bit morale sapping.
