The Verge has a breakdown of the policy changes at Facebook, Instagram and Threads yesterday.
It is, in my opinion, deeply uncomfortable.

@GossiTheDog
Mind you, I'm just asking questions, here...
So, if I were to create an identity or ten in the Meta-verse (I hate writing that as much as you hate reading it), then I could conceivably say something (in those spaces) along the lines that: it is my personal religious belief that one should not trust cisgender men who voluntarily work with children because they most certainly be pedophiles of one sort or another?
I wouldn't get instabanned?
How about if I say that men who join Christ-oriented religious orders are either ace or pedophiles? Would that be allowed?
What if I said that it is my core religious belief that, with notable exceptions, billionaires as a class are mentally ill predators who should be rounded up and sterilized, and their entire germ lines eradicated. Is that stepping over the line?
Y u mad, bro? It was a joke!
@DelilahTech @GossiTheDog @noondlyt I was wondering if I could say that religious beliefs were a mental illness.
But I think you've got it. "It is my religious belief [something horrible]" is the magic incantation. You can say anything if it's a religious belief.
I guess I already knew that. I don't like seafood but I never say it. Instead I can't eat seafood because I'm a Pisces and it would be cannibalism. People won't question religious beliefs or crazy people.
