He then introduced me to the oldest #BoardGame on Earth, the #RoyalGameOfUr. I didn't enjoy it much until he suggested we try the blitz rules, which was great fun. And now I have 4 new binary D4 to add to the math rock collection.

@ravenbait should clarify that I remember it from a copy I bought in the British Museum and not from when I played it five thousand years ago in Ur.
