Rick ThomanFor me, today is the first important marker in the return of the sun. Sunset in Fairbanks is after 300pm for the first time since the end of November. The next marker is around January 20, when the sun will be high enough in the sky for a period of “white light”, around solar noon, as opposed to the continuous sunrise/sunset orange that we have now. #akwx @anisian @mivox
