So we’re trying to come up with a new name for the KDL Query Language since it currently conflicts with an existing language, see https://github.com/kdl-org/kdl/issues/379

Current candidates:

👉🏻 .kpath - like XPath
👉🏻 .kpl - “KDL Path Language” (already kinda used on GitHub, but to a lesser extent than .kql)
👉🏻 .kpe - “KDL Path Expression”

Consider renaming KQL to something more globally unique · Issue #379 · kdl-org/kdl

There's currently a name conflict with Kusto Query Language, and I believe that's what GitHub's currently .kql support actually highlights.

@zkat i liked kpath but some languages' speakers have issues with th sounds so i voted kpl because it seemed fairly global or whatever 😅
