2024 Photos Thread

Hey all, I thought I'd do this to kinda.. show my progression with train photography. I've got photos from most months soooo.. lets get in to it shall we?

First off, I'm going to go back to the closest thing I have to a photo from January on hand. This, in fact, is from September 2023, and was a photo I was/am very proud of

Taken on a Nikon D5300 I believe

This is from February 7th, taken on a D5300 at the National Rail Museum

And now, for the first ones I took on my own camera! Back when in March I got my Canon R100

Next... I appear to only have videos for April? So! Here's one of them.
Can't remember what I took this on, but it's a "New Measurement Train", a HST set that NetworkRail use to test the railways

Now, for May! Lots... of photos to choose between for this. So, I'll get one I took of arguably one of my favourite trains I've seen and know of so far, the APT-P

In July! Now we get from when I was using Instagram to Furaffinity, which also means higher quality lmfao

But here, have one from my European Railtrip!

Now August! Most of my photos from this month are in Thailand, so I'll get one of them

Back to the UK for September. Took quite a lot of effort to see this train, but I ended up seeing it nonetheless :3

@skye Fun fact about DSB EB 3240: It's actually the 1000th Siemens Vectron locomotive ever built. It used to have the text "VECTRON NR." ("NR." meaning number) and a big 1000 on each side, but that has since been removed. Shame, it looked cool and made the locomotive stand out.
