@petergleick Bear in mind, these folks will “discover” how terrible the nakedly terrible Republicans are now and by the time they’ve enacted hundreds of deleterious changes and policies and yet still allowed an election to happen, the same startled discoverers will have since forgotten their discovery and vote for them again.

They’re making the Upset Noises but they will not change the underlying thought (or lack thereof) processes that got us all here.
