#Day28 Something you want to see in more dramas

The #kdrama world doesn't restrain from showing and even criticizing every aspect of their society. This is one of the big reasons why I love k-dramas and I am less attracted to c-dramas, for instance.

Nevertheless I believe more dramas could come out about life in North Korea.

And the abuse #kpop trainees go through hasn't yet been fully disclosed.
I'm currently watching #Namib and I hope it will meet my expectations.

@s1m0n4 "The #kdrama world doesn't restrain from showing ¨-etc: Indeed. Even in older Kdrama, things like corruption and manipulation in the real world are often shown hardly disguised. Just changing a few names etc. I cannot judge really about main West cinema anymore. So long ago I watched something at all. I get glimpses when visiting people. "It is a sad story¨, "It is a comic¨, "It is real horror !¨.
Never that delicate mix of sorrow and joy. Nothing changed really I believe.

@hanktank61 recently I watched The Empress (orig. Die Kaiserin) on Netflix. It's a German/Austrian #drama about Asburg Empress Elizabeth (known as Sissi).
It was surprisingly good, "with a delicate mix of sorrow and joy" similar to K-dramas.
