Ice Skates

Ice Skates are a pre-Hardmode accessory that improves a player's movement control on Thin Ice, all Ice Blocks, Ice Rod blocks, Frozen Slime Blocks and Aetherium Blocks. The player accelerates faster, slides shorter distances, and will no longer cause Thin Ice to break when landing from falls or jumps. Ice Skates have a 1551/10000 (15.51%) chance of being found inside Frozen Chests in the Ice biome, as well as a 1/6 (16.67%) chance of being obtained from Frozen(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) and Boreal Crates(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).
