@jgordon Absolutely fascinating.

The first computer I interacted with in the early 70s used teletypes .. which were about 10bps. (It was a time-shared HP-2000 of some variety.)

I for one am far happier with the data rates of devices now even if I can't think faster than 10bps. Amazing how quickly we get used to The New Thing.
