It’s even weirder that connoisseurs say this is good, actually, while also saying that more is better for various other dimensions (including audio specs; advocating hifi for audio and lofi for fps can go together).

@hsivonen Hobbit was such an uncanny valley, that I'm okay with 24fps.

The ideal would be variable fps with high framerate for panning shots.

@kornel My unpopular opinion is that The Hobbit’s HFR 3D was the best 3D so far, and it’s bad that there’s been 3D with lower frame rate since then.
