jamesburrell2@jemcewen @davetroy Their ulterior motive is to destroy the standing of the USA (destroy Dollar dominance by default and/or promoting Bitcoin as the reserve currency), forcing population instability so that US states splinter into smaller provinces and selling the federal assets, such as tech and military, to the private sector on the cheap.

@jamesburrell2 @davetroy I know, but raising the debt limit prevents default for whatever time period is specified. Trump has even called for permanent suspension of the debt limit, which most Democrats wanted before yesterday.
