You can set up your account at https://polymaths.social/settings/
There is no interactive web interface (other than the settings panel and profile/post pages), but any Mastodon client should work. If you're especially missing the Mastodon web interface, look into Mastodon-FE: https://masto-fe.iceshrimp.dev/
A few settings to note that are different defaults than Mastodon servers:
- Posts are unlisted by default
- By default, followers require approval. (When you migrate you might want to turn this setting off, at least temporarily, so you don't have to manually approve all migrated followers.)
- You can enable Markdown formatting for posts
- Char limit is 5,000, but I've set up the server to throw an error if you don't include alt text on your images.
