MudManMade me check. This seems weird, though, because I did have installs of Mint, Bazzite, PopOS and Manjaro this year, and played some Steam games on all of them. I guess they're not big enough to chart?
TurtlePowerIt won’t tell you what distro, just “Linux”. Bazzite definitely charts because that’s the distro I settled on after trying openSUSE and a few Fedora spins.
Also, while this metric doesn’t specify which distro(s) you used, Steam will say what distro you’re on under your in-game status, though not always. (Might be the game that’s being played that does/does not recognize the specific distro.)
Yeah, no, it definitely would register, I just probably didn't play enough on those to chart against a full year of playtime, which does check out. That chart has a LOT of hours in it and I played on each of those distros maybe a couple of days. Except for Bazzite, which does live permanently on a handheld, dualbooting alongside Windows.
