I am trying to convince my spouse that this should be our next car but so far the only point she has conceded is that it's less ugly than a Cybertruck

Ooh - are you actually involved in making it?
I think, really, the main visual problem I have is the "face". Weird whisker things instead of eyes, and no smile.
But I have real questions too! How will the canopy cover work? And what about crash safety?
And seriously, there's nothing close to that size and price with a 350 mile range!
In seriousness if they made a compact SUV / hatchback version, that'd be perfect for us.
@mattdm gosh it looks like a toy that kids will never play with because it's so ugly.
How could they achieve this level of futurism?
@mattdm @jalefkowit It would be super cool if the article linked to the manufacturerās website but apparently they only want to link to themselves.
I hate ājournalistsā who hand out homework.
But Iām super interested in the truck, despite the bad journalism. So thank you for sharing. This could be a Kei-truck for the new EV world.
Here's the link
I picked the article because the manufacturer's site is kind of crap about providing an actual specific "what are we actually talking about here?" url.
@mattdm @jalefkowit I found it already, but thank you. Iām not trying to shoot the messenger!
I genuinely want these funky manufacturers to survive. Maybe they sell their skateboard for commercial use to subsidize the run at regular road use?
I have a Rivian R1T which is not a very efficient platform but itās very fun. Iām all for more fun (yet efficient and diverse) options out there
