Back to using Gramps #genealogy program to build up my database of old New York klezmer musicians in advance of my research trip this winter, and because of the limited types of Events in the program I'm putting Local 802 union membership as an Ordination event.😏 It feels fitting

These names are from a custom list on Ancestry (old musicians who lived and died in NY 1890s-1945) so no screenshots but I keep coming across some more excellent old timey names today: Gauthier Di Cube, Severin Eisenberger (!), Lorenz Scuffert, Sigismund Lazar .. so good
