In terms of spending the Defense Budget is ABSOLUTELY DWARFED by Social Spending. Without hyperbole itās not even fucking close.
In 2023 the Defense Budget was 805 Billion USD, meanwhile Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Income Security, and āOtherā represented 3.8 TRILLION, nearly five times as much.
The US already spends more than the entire GDP of many countries on Healthcare and citizen assistance. The problem here isnāt the DoD budget, itās how were spending our money on the Social Services side.
