@Phorm Actually, looking at the full ad copy, it kinda seems like they are implying that the intended interpretation is "watch as your pokemon make barbeque out of your best friend."

The last line of the full ad copy goes "collect and train all 150 and you too can become a master pokemon trainer, and a darn fine chef", and the only food-related thing they've mentioned up until that point is the "spitroast your best friend" line, so I can only conclude that they where trying to imply that Pokemon is some sort of hard vore game.

That line definitely doesn't disprove the idea of sexy spitroasting going on, as it could just as well be speaking metaphorically, but it certainly does not clarify things.
