Mr. Mayor, I recommend proceeding with your parking motion and disagree with your Staff’s recommendation. Experience shows that more process & engagement will not change the ability of leaders to make an informed decision on this well-studied urban issue, and decisiveness is in the public interest.

Tomorrow night Shoreline Mayor Chris Roberts is set to put forward an amendment that would eliminate parking mandates citywide. Near transit, no parking study would be required. Shoreline city staff do not like this amendment.
