GerudoUntil they can get laser projectors to match the brightness of at least older oled, I just can’t use it as a main screen. The picture quality is great on a lot of them, just not bright enough to use in a windowed room.
WhiteOakBayouI use a projector for my main entertainment display in a windowed room and when I find myself somewhere with a good large 4k screen I’m very aware of how much deeper the blacks are and how it’s just a bit sharper on the tv. I don’t mind trading the image quality for having it mounted up and out of the way though.
QuarterSwedeIt’ll never happen even if they get super bright. Can’t get darker than the thing it’s being projected on to. Contrast ratio will always be lacking.
