MOVED TO @i judge fedi instances based on if they block brid.gy or not
this is why i moved to wetdry instead of labyrinth when grim green forest got shut down
i'm doing this because the bluesky mod team fucked up or something idfk what happened either, i'm just using fedi as my secondary social media platform and since i'm moving to a different instance by 2024 and i still want my bsky friends to get informed what i'm currently doing and vice versa, i'm judging fedi instances based on if they block brid.gy so that i can bridge my account to bsky and maybe follow some bsky folks that doesn't have a fedi account but did bridge their account through ap.brid.gy

@leap123 TL;DR people are calling for a prominent anti-trans figure that has recently joined to be banned, and the T&S team hasn't done that
as a result many people consider Bluesky to have failed.
Of course there's discussion to be had about the fact that said figure could sign up on another server and be un-bannable by Bluesky T&S but thats a different story.

@ivy ah, don't know they unblocked it long ago, either that or that i'm misremembering because i know that grimgreen indeed blocks bridgy fed and i might get some things from grimgreen mixed up with labyrinth

yeah ivy didn't even know bridgy existed before that announcement thing admins put up about twenty days ago
