For friends and enemies on Aethy, freaksonly, or other media-rejected instances: please use alt text if you can! Especially those migrating back because of the good mews ❤️

Even just a couple words like "drawing of huge boobs" is AMAZING - it helps us on Blorbo see what images y'all are posting, since we can't load the image preview.

Examples of what images from media-rejected instances look like for us on Blorbo (using Tusky Nightly, may look different on different clients). Hell, this is what Blorbo (or other non-rejected) posts look like when I have bad internet and can't load images too. And boy do I have bad internet often!

I am much more likely to share and reply to your beautiful post if I know what the image is before clicking it, especially because sometimes the image doesn't even load when I click it!

@scumsuck for some reason I get so anxious doing alt text (can draw boobs but can't write "drawing of big boobs") but that character development is long overdue tbh... better late than never :3

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've always wondered why posts from certain instances show up as links instead of images. I'd never heard of the term "media-rejected instances". What exactly does that mean? Why are they that way?
