Emily VelascoI finally harvested my mystery squash and I'm quite sure that there are an accidental hybrid between pumpkin and butternut. I am excited to see how they taste and to save some of the seeds for future gardening purposes
Too orange and round to be a butternut. Too tan and long to be a pumpkin.
I would like to grow some of the seeds from these and then cross them with a kabocha squash, which I also have seeds from, just to see what I get.
But if these are good, I would like to continue growing them. It would be fun to have my own squash varietal.
