@kitsunecafe in all seriousness, with the former, part of the problem is this foolish idea that a human being is, like, some product you buy in a shop that should be exactly what you expected from the text on the packaging. But people are complex, changing and growing. You gotta take that into account and be prepared for a wild ride. Yes, if it gets too wild you can get off, but you don't get to blame the partner for that. It's just sad for both of you if it didn't work out.
