Today's just full of great finds and inspiration. Super impressed with https://simplepagebuilder.app/ by @stefan and the tutorial as well. https://simplepagebuilder.app/tutorial/ #indeweb #personalwebsites #nocode #openweb
Home | A simple page builder app.

Design your own personal page and find tools to host it for free.

@stefan Read your original blog post about the project, and in our experience the overlap of people who want to build their own website but aren't ready to write their own HTML is bigger than we expected and seems to be growing. Am planning to host a websites-for-artists workshop in January and will definitely be using this. Also noticed all the tags you use on your blog. If you ever wanna turn them into hashtags, we'd love to have you as part of the https://octothorp.es/ webring

@octothorpes Thank you so much, really glad you like the project!

This is really interesting! Definitely would love to hear more about the workshop and your experience afterwards.

As for the webring, let me look into this a bit and follow up, thank you for the invitation!

@stefan Yeah I think an enormous amount of that segment of people is captured by Wordpress or sitebuilders like Squarespace, and we've been present for a bunch of conversations where it's clear that there's no tool preference, just needing a certain degree of visually-led design to get started. Your site builder is probably the best, focused tool for this that we've seen so far.

@octothorpes Thank you, really appreciate it!

I still consider this more of a prototype, definitely could be more user-friendly, and I'd like to maybe add some nice looking starter templates.

So getting some initial feedback from people interested in using this tool would be very helpful and motivating!
