Exhibition in Madrid of Gabriele Münter, the electric painter who crowned the Olympus of art
The tree of Wassily Kandinsky never revealed the fertile forest of painting of his partner, Gabriele Münter. The forest of Alexej von Jawlensky always hid the trees of his wife, Marianne von Werefkin. And even though she, seven years older, was the one who taught painting to a soldier who didn't have a penny in his pocket and who today is a god and no lesser than expressionism. And so, they entered the canon of the untouchables, of the adored, while they were relegated unless as a footnote. The examples do not end... But time, at times, imparts justice.
