Birmingham City Council 'bankruptcy' update:

the combination of central Govt. grant cuts to Local Authorities, a failed Oracle implementation (cost around £100m) & a pay discrimination case (estimated cost £750m) plunged Birmingham into a round of radical & far reaching cuts & asset sales.

Now the pay case looks like being settled at around £250 (1/3 of the Council estimate & more like what the unions expected)....

Those cuts now look partly unnecessary - another scandal?
