@amigalove @cureneckbeard some of them had the serial on a separate sticker near the type plate. I'm not aware of an official explanation.

Even if it's not a fake, it's certainly not the 'first' Amiga 500, but rather a misprinted label.

In case anyone is wondering: this computer has likely been serviced back in the days and had its serial number sticker replaced.
There are countless of these serial number "1" A500s in the wild. They are not rare.
