@GavinCampbell thanks for mentioning battery powered tuya mmwave sensors in one of the recent Home Tech podcasts. I'd been looking for ones that aren't mains powered for a while as I need them in places where there's no power and can't get power to (pesky electrical regulations). Thank you!

@kenguest Glad I could help. I use them in places of low traffic as the battery life isn't the greatest. They use the pir sensor until it stops detecting and then the mmwave kicks in (which uses more battery) to maintain presense. So its pretty good for a bathroom or a closet.

I highly recommend looking at this article as there are a few different models it looks like. Best to make sure you get the right one.
