shakshuka time

@auspex poached the eggs, I did the rest, turned out tasty as fuck. shakshuka remains one of my most favorite foods ever.

here's the recipe I use (except we poached the eggs this time cuz baking them to the perfect consistency is difficult and frustrating): https://telegra.ph/Shakshuka-With-Feta-Recipe-03-20

@noxypaws @auspex Ohhh that looks delicious!! Shakshuka is sooo good!! I got hooked on Blue Apron's version of this dish, though I usually double the yellow curry paste and the grape tomatoes (or replace the fresh grape tomatoes with a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes), add some minced garlic, and add additional eggs (EDIT: also some diced mini sweet peppers or bell peppers too!). But I've had good luck poaching the eggs in the shakshuka simply by following Blue Apron's method - if you're unsatisfied with the eggs, it might be worth a try to see if that works for you too!

Here's Blue Apron's version: https://media.blueapron.com/recipes/47960/c_card_pdfs/1716466098-48-0142-6952/2PRE22_OnePanChickpeaShakshuka_WEB.pdf

@baralheia @auspex neat! that's a little different for sure. no red bell peppers is interesting. chickpeas for sure work great in shakshuka tho, local place used to have toasted chickpea shakshuka that was so good
@noxypaws @auspex Oh crap I forgot to list those, my bad! I do usually add some capsicum to my shakshuka too, but more often it's in the form of diced mini sweet peppers instead of bell pepper simply because I have those on hand more often than bell peppers. But yeah, I'm with ya on the chickpeas, they add a nice extra dimension to the shakshuka that I really like!
