My #tidal 2024:
@gepr you are listening to German folk bands? 🤨 I must admit I have never heard of "Faun". They sound medieval, like music for Grimms' Fairy Tales. At least not as trashy as Rammstein.
@JochenFromm Absolutely! I found Faun mostly because they play a hurdy gurdy. I'll listen to almost anyone who plays hurdy gurdy. E.g. https://youtu.be/mUgXSgYZ9TE?si=pvUib_jaDR0tR0D0

@gepr we have many medieval festivals and markets here, for example at Ronneburg castle or Freienfels Castle. Both are close to Frankfurt which has one of the biggest airports in Europe. I guess you would like the medieval markets. What about a trip to Germany?

Medieval markets - Ronneburg Castle

During the historical markets, the castle and the castle grounds around it are transformed into a vibrant marketplace with diverse attractions, merchants, taverns, craftsmen, jugglers and musicians.

@JochenFromm Yes! I'd love to come back. I've been to Rostock, Bielefeld, and Köln. (I think I'm forgetting another trip, though.) And both Renee' and I used to frequent Ren faires over here. So it would be great to hit one there. We also want to go to "Castlefest" in NL <https://castlefest.nl/en>, but just haven't made it, yet.
