I took two pills intead of one this morning
I’m on Elvanse (lisdexanfetamin) 30mg I just took two pills instead of one by mistake. I’m quite sure I wasn’t noticing anything with 30mg but now I fear an overdose or some shit. Tho here if 30mg is not enough they jump you to 50mg which is not far from 60mg… The thing is that I’m scared and don’t know what I should do.
My Doc encouraged me to experiment. I’m on 20 mg Ritalin but he said I should try at a point also with 40 mg or 60 mg to see what is the best.
He warned about the side effects, which will be like drinking too much coffee. And I tried, got shaky, headache, feeling restless but tired at the same time and nauseous. All passed after a couple of hours.
If you feel like it’s worse than too much caffeine, call the ER!
I had done a lot of, mostly, well informed research on what I’m taking and I should have known better than to panicking…
It ended up serving as an experiment tho, I’m gathering data for a follow-up meeting with my doctor about how the medication is working.
