Texas Senate to pursue ban on THC products next year, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick says - Lemmy.zip

> Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced Wednesday that lawmakers in the state Senate would move to ban all forms of consumable tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, in Texas.

Fine give up all that tax revenue, other states have been rolling in the funds. And because court and jail fees makes so much more money 🙄

Can we kick out Texas from the US now?

These products are only taxed the 6.25 percent Texan sales tax. They aren’t losing out on much
Michigan made almost $300 million last year just on weed, and this year is looking even higher. Texas has a population 3x that of MI. If they legalize it fully and tax like alcohol and tobacco they would be missing out on a lot more. But whatever, we should give Texas to Mexico.

We should give Texas to Mexico.

No.
