More than ever, Europe needs strong cybersecurity professionals.

This week, we’ve opened an Industry-Academia Network to help align cyber training with the skills that are in demand by the industry.

It will:
🤝 strengthen industry-academia ties,
🕵️ boost cybersecurity skills,
🛡️ prepare the European cyber workforce for emerging needs.

This network will include education and vocational training providers, helping create joint curricula, mentorships and apprenticeships.

I don't think they even read the replies. And even if they did I doubt it would get to whoever can make any decision.

Anyway for the sake of optimism, my advice to the EU is to hire someone who knows anything, and not someone who agrees with them. I have read horror stories about cybersecurity "professionals".

Also push the linux transition HARD, before you find out how big of a liability windows actually is.
