I know mastodon.social is seen as a detriment to some in the fediverse

But have you ever considered my story?

Joined in 2016

Came back in 2018

Built an audience around my new project @pixelfed

We take m.s for granted, a large part of the fediverse literally wouldn't exist unless @Gargron built a suitable GNU/Social successor.

The fediverse is quick to point fingers at Mastodon and Gargron, but thanks to him, you have a platform to do that on.

We love you big G, you are my hero ❤️

we're horrible, haven't you heard? There's too many of us and we're generally clueless since we don't know how to run our own server or choose a smaller one. Or so I hear. ;^)
