What the hell: Forbes advertising UN Human Rights Watch are terrorists - Lemmy.World

Just saw this advertisement on a Forbes article. Someone is paying to equate UN Human Rights Watch workers as HAMAS terrorists. I guess that explains why Israel is so comfortable bombing aide workers. I’m surprised the Israel lobby (if that’s whose sponsored this) thinks it’s worthwhile to sink this low… and that Forbes is allowing it on their news website What a world…

Forbes vets its own ads. Many people there had to think this was a good thing.

It’s not a random ad from another company

Forbes vets the ads? Lmao link me proof. It’s probably a programmatic buy based on OP browsing.

This forbes??? thedrum.com/…/forbes-accused-selling-mfa-media-br…

Forbes accused of selling MFA media to brands under guise of legitimate ad space

A damning new report alleges that hundreds of brands, including Microsoft, Disney, Ford and Johnson & Johnson, were for years misled into believing they were buying premium ad inventory on Forbes’ website when they were in fact buying space on a secretive, spammy subdomain.

The Drum

op picture has Forbes domain itself?

Your link is about scam on another domain

Both are forbes.com…

You gonna link to their vetting proof? They vet direct buys probably, not programmatic

The article you linked is them scamming multinationals by faking metrics of ad campaigns they helped design , and that www3 subdomain is gone, apparently it only mirrored ads they ran on the main site.

The links are easy to find and you get directed to the sales department if you try
