@hillu I unironically love Perl. It's an unpopular opinion these days. And the network effect isn't what it used to be.
@ross Nowadays one might say it's an acquired taste. But once acquired… even though I mostly have moved via Go to Rust in the last decade or so, I still long for some very Perl-specific features most of which actually let me express intent towards later maintainers of my code.
