My only issue with Biden pardoning Hunter is if he stops there.

Biden should commute the death penalty for the 40 Americans on federal death row, cancel all student debt via EO & force Trump to revive them, & protect abortion nationwide via EO. Get bold. Take action. Slow down MAGA fascism! Fight!

@RowinSpeez @QasimRashid Didn't the SC already rule that anything the President does in office, not just tangentially related to their job, is immune from prosecution? Am I right in thinking he could straight-up have Trump ki- *shown a lovely time* and be legally fine?

@paulbottomley42 @QasimRashid No, they didn’t actually define the limits of power, or what is the delineation of official and unofficial acts of the office. They just said they can revisit the issue and be the final word in the future.

Pretty sure pardon power can’t be litigated and has no legal oversight, though I could be completely wrong on this. I think this is one reason republicans are mad, no legal fuckery to whip.
