@jenn Fabulous! If you ever want to learn about why it takes so much force to properly install the valve into the threaded opening on the tank, look up 'national pipe thread' or something similar. The threads are weirdly tapered and it gets harder and harder to rotate as the threads engage more deeply.

The pee hole valve on my compressor is unfortunately not a ball valve so it's really annoying to open and close. Maybe I'll replace it since you showed me how.
