Robert Reich: 10 million fewer Americans voted in 2024 than in 2020. This is why Harris lost. Reich puts it down to the Democratic Party's visible abandonment of poor and working-class Americans.

There was no mandate for Trump. There was no red shift. There was only a blue abandonment

The real mandate is for Democrats to stand for a fairer economy.

@rms wow.. holy shit. I was sure the turnout in #election2024 would be a U.S. record. It’s kind of a relieving, actually. Because I was overwhelmed by what I thought was a wave of new assholes in the country. When in fact every asshole voted while the dems slacked off.
