@Wife got a "new" (refurbished) laptop. Thinkpad x280. CMOS battery seems to be dead, and that seems to be creating tons of weird effects. Replacement battery ordered.
Dany🇮🇹@jbqueru where did she get it off of? I had an issue with my original laptop, got one off of Amazon and it was glitchy!! Now I got a new one and it works perfect.
@cybersecdancer We got it locally in Greece from an online shop called reuse-it. They confirmed over the phone that the variant they have has a 1080p screen, my wife doesn't want any less than that.
(The SSD and main battery are easily replaced, and we've already verified that all the hardware seems to work out of the box with Linux).
